Our view of the service

Date of Assessment: 25 February 2025 to 5 March 2025.

Little Lever Health Centre-2 is a GP practice that delivers service to approximately 3000 people under a contract held with NHS England. The National General Practice Profiles states that 88% of people are white, 8% Asian and 5% black, mixed or other. Information published by Office for Health Improvement and Disparities shows that deprivation within the practice population group is in the 5th decile (5 of 10). The lower the decile, the more deprived the practice population is relative to others. This assessment considered the demographics of the people using the service, the context the service was working within and how this impacted service delivery. Where relevant, further commentary is provided in the quality statements section of this report.

The practice was assessed in November 2024. It was rated inadequate overall and placed into special measures. We found 3 breaches of regulation relating to safe care and treatment, good governance and fit and proper persons employed. Warning notices, stating the provider must comply with the regulations by 28 February 2025, were issued in December 2024. This assessment was to check if the provider had complied with the warning notices. We did not look at all quality statements.

This assessment found that the practice was still in breach of regulations relating to safe care and treatment, good governance and fit and proper persons employed. Ratings are unchanged, and the practice remains in special measures.
