We inspected I Straker Consultants Ltd on the 17, 18, 21 and 22 October 2024.

The service was originally registered as Horton House in May 2023. The service subsequently moved to a new location, registered as I Straker Consultants Ltd which was registered in September 2024. The service had not previously been assessed or rated. The service is registered for the regulated activity of treatment of disease, disorder or injury.

During this assessment we assessed all 15 quality statements across the safe and well led key questions.

Following our assessment, we issued the provider with two s29A warning notices under regulation 12 (safe care and treatment) and regulation 17 (good governance) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.

We identified concerns regarding:

The qualification and training of staff and the processes to assure their competency,

Safe prescribing of medication,

The lack of effective governance and quality assurance processes.
